Podere Pescia, a newly restored 19th Century farmhouse, is situated in the beautiful Umbrian countryside, near the Tuscan border, with marvellous views of Lake Trasimeno and medieval hilltop villages.Nearby facilities for sailing,windsurfing,water skiing,horse riding,golf,biking and the beautiful undulating countryside is perfect for walking.Lake Trasimeno is the centre of one of the richest districts in the world  from and historical and cultural point of view:In a journey of less than an hour you can explore and experience  historical towns  such as Castiglione del Lago,Cortona,Montepulciano,,Siena,Perugia,Assisi,Orvieto,Gubbio,Spoleto and in a car or train journey of less than two hours you can reach Florence,Rome,Urbino.

In Umbria and nearby Tuscany there are ongoing events including music (classic and jazz) and opera as well as numerous festas,sagras( local feasts),antique fairs and markets to visit and explore.
