Podere Pescia-Country House

Podere Pescia, a newly restored 19th Century farmhouse, is situated in the beautiful Umbrian Country side, near the Tuscany border, with marvellous views of Lake Trasimeno and medieval hilltop villages.
The complex has been restored with care: features are the large chimneys, the dove tower, the little bell tower on the outside while on the inside the terracotta floors, beamed ceiling, open fireplaces and original doors enhance the atmosphere of this farmhouse.
The owner of Podere Pescia is a professional property renovator whose work has been featured in leading design magazines in Italy and England.
Podere Pescia is named after a nearby stream which in the past had such an abundance of fish that it was common to fish with bare hands.
